[AGF Unmanned Forklift Case] Accelerating the Smart Logistics in the Food Industry
Behind the saying 'The people make heaven with food,' VisionNav accelerates the smart logistics in the food industry!
When our company entered the food industry, we would like to introduce how we overcame difficult situations and accelerated the upgrade to smart logistics. We implemented a project in a food warehouse in southern China. The bottom width of the drive-in rack in the warehouse was 1340mm, so we chose a reach-type unmanned forklift to operate within the tight confines of the rack, performing cargo storage operations in accordance with the first-in, first-out rule using the drive-in rack. In a project for a global food processing company, we utilized the sensing capabilities of the unmanned forklift to detect the height of the cargo while lifting the forks, enabling stacking and unstacking of the cargo. We equipped the floor storage warehouse with Bright Eyes to monitor the status of locations and the loading and unloading of cargo, identifying people, vehicles, and cargo entering and exiting the warehouse, and issuing alerts for safety risks. basic information
**Case Summary** ■ Drive-in Racks & High-rise Racks - Introduced "VNR14" in a food warehouse project in southern China. - The bottom width of the drive-in rack in the warehouse is 1340mm. - Operated within the width-limited rack, following the first-in, first-out rule, to carry out cargo storage operations in the drive-in rack. - Achieved efficient and high-precision cargo storage operations. ■ Collaboration with Automation Equipment, Smart Management of All Processes - In a major food processing company, the processing of raw and auxiliary materials requires multiple steps. - To accommodate the complex work processes at the project site, we designed a dedicated module for our RCS. - Unmanned forklifts can now work seamlessly with each piece of equipment. ■ High-Density Storage on the Floor, Safety Monitoring with Bright Eyes - Proposed for a global food processing company's project. - Utilized the sensing capabilities of unmanned forklifts (executing stacking and unstacking of cargo). - Equipped the floor storage warehouse with a safety monitoring system called "Bright Eyes." - Monitored the status of the location and the loading and unloading of cargo. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

VisionNav Robotics, the global market leader in automatic forklifts with over 5,000 units deployed worldwide. More than 70% of our employees are development staff, creating innovative technologies and solutions. We have confidently established a Japanese subsidiary. While AGV/AMR are gaining popularity in the market, AGF (unmanned forklifts) have yet to become widespread. A major reason for this is the difficulty in seeing a clear return on investment. Contributing factors include processing speed, cost, and the limited number of applicable scenarios. VisionNav Robotics' automatic forklifts can address these three challenges. We offer eight models tailored to various operational scenarios. With a maximum travel speed of 5.4 km/h, they demonstrate sufficient processing capability, and can handle not only resin pallets but also iron pallets and palletinas. With special attachments, they can directly grasp loads. They are compatible with high-rise racks over 7 meters, as well as stacking/unstacking and truck loading/unloading.
