Measures were implemented between the construction area and the residential area! It was confirmed that ground vibrations are approximately 6dB lower, reducing vibrations by half!
In Mie Prefecture, there were concerns that the construction vibrations from the new highway would propagate to nearby residences. Therefore, the 'WIB method' was implemented between the construction area and the houses. After the measures were taken, a running test with a backhoe was conducted, comparing the vibrations at the unprotected and protected locations.
