Applications/Examples of results
The MGate 5135/5435 gateway provides various maintenance features to reduce troubleshooting time and costs, including LED indicators, protocol diagnostics, access monitoring, and tag views. These tools assist in data acquisition and checks, making it easier to identify the root cause of issues, especially during the installation phase. Additionally, the MGate gateway is equipped with status monitoring and fault protection features. The status monitoring function notifies the PLC/DC/SCADA system when a Modbus device is disconnected or unresponsive. In this case, the process PLC/DC retrieves the status of each end device and issues alarms to notify the operator. The fault protection feature executes user-defined actions when the host is disconnected, preventing end devices from being offline for extended periods.
