Visualization of achievements in manufacturing management processes! A case where input errors have been eliminated and the reliability of achievements has increased.
At Printing Company A, three printing machines are in operation, and their operational status is compiled monthly, recording the output quantity, defective numbers, and operating hours on paper. As the trend towards small lot production of various items progresses, the price transfer for small lots has not advanced, and there is a desire to understand profitability based on the working hours for each product. We proposed a performance data collection device that we also use. The three printing machines from different manufacturers can be managed by a single collection device, and thanks to the transition from manual data collection to automatic collection, input errors have been eliminated, increasing the reliability of the performance data. [Challenges] - The operational status was being recorded and compiled on paper. - As the trend towards small lot production of various items progresses, the price transfer for small lots has not advanced. - There is a desire to understand profitability based on the working hours for each product. - Attempting to compile setup times on paper while working with a stopwatch is inefficient. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
