Where are the regulated sections? Introducing the "List of 13 Sections with Chain Obligations" and "Chains Compliant with Regulations."

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the National Police Agency have designated a total of 13 sections, including 7 expressway sections and 6 national road sections, where tire chain installation is mandatory starting from the winter of 2018, due to past occurrences of large-scale traffic standstills. During heavy snowfall, vehicles are not allowed to proceed in the designated regulated sections without installing chains, even if they are equipped with winter tires.
