They are suitable for industrial and scientific applications beyond the visible light spectrum. The Goldeye shortwave infrared (SWIR) camera supports both active and passive temperature functions and is available in two types of housing designs. The compact and robust industrial version offers models with and without single-stage TEC cooling functionality for the sensor, optimizing adaptation to environmental conditions and ensuring highly reproducible image results. The advanced scientific version features a nitrogen chamber and provides powerful cooling performance of up to 60K (Kelvin) without condensation, allowing for image acquisition with very long exposure times. The built-in fan, which dissipates heat generated by the TEC function, can be switched off to prevent image disturbance from vibrations. The active sensor cooling function is supported by a robust, highly heat-dissipating aluminum housing, which can expand the operating temperature range of the Goldeye shortwave infrared (SWIR) camera.
