The TA optical amplifier chip is housed in a compact casing that utilizes Toptica's proprietary PRO technology and is highly temperature-controlled. Additionally, the beam shape is optimally corrected. BoosTA pro can be controlled by either a standalone compact external power controller: DC HP, or a common platform: DLC pro that covers many of our laser products. In either case, it can provide current supply of 5, 7, or up to 10 A, accommodating high-power TA chips that require large drive currents.

The BoosTA pro optical amplifier head is equipped with a current modulation board that has a wide bandwidth. This allows for the adjustment of the amplification gain to compensate for power fluctuations of the master laser by forming a closed feedback circuit. Additionally, this board includes a protection circuit to avoid electrical chip damage. By adopting a fiber input option, it is possible to significantly reduce the effort required for beam adjustment of the master laser. We also offer a variety of options, including fiber output and built-in optical isolators. Inside the BoosTA pro head, there is ample space to accommodate a 60 dB optical isolator to prevent the influence of returning light.
