Achieving cap sealing without dust contamination! Introducing a case that also realized work efficiency.
We would like to introduce a case study of a semi-automatic capper/uncapper implemented for a chemical materials manufacturing company that has been in business for 100 years. In this customer's case, the production of test products in the development laboratory was being done manually, leading to the need for semi-automation to improve efficiency and to minimize the attachment of fine dirt. By automating the processes from uncapping to the suction of chemicals and capping, the issues of fibers from the clothing of the operators and dust contamination, which had been a concern, were eliminated. Furthermore, by automating the process of discharging bottles from the device and setting them up for the next evaluation machine, we were able to achieve improved work efficiency simultaneously. 【Challenges】 - Caps of gallon and quart bottles were being opened and closed manually, and chemicals were being extracted by hand. - Work efficiency was poor, and fine debris was contaminating the research and development process. - The equipment had to be installed in a limited space, necessitating miniaturization of the device. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
