Our optical transparent resin, marketed under the name SVR, is a resin that combines optical properties and elasticity. Its main application is as a liquid adhesive material used to fill the air gap between the top plate (glass or resin) of displays, such as those found in smartphones and tablet PCs, and the modules underneath, like liquid crystal displays (LCDs). The primary advantage of SVR is its ability to significantly improve visibility. By filling the air gap, reflections of external light at the top plate interface and the diffusion of internal image light are minimized. In previous mobile phones, a phenomenon occurred where the visibility of the display deteriorated due to the difference in refractive index between the top plate and the air within the air gap when external light entered.
