What kind of floors can "Hare Ruya Film" be applied to?
◼︎ Types of Paint with Good Compatibility Epoxy resin-based paints and hard polyurethane resin paints are recommended for their high adhesion to floor surfaces. If a film is applied over regular paint or acrylic resin-based paint, impacts on the film may cause the paint film to peel off from the concrete or other floor surfaces, leading to film lifting. Additionally, if the film is applied before the paint is completely dry, the evaporation of solvents (such as water or thinner) within the paint can cause the film to lift. Therefore, two-component paints that use hardeners tend to have shorter drying times and better compatibility.

◼︎ Can it be directly applied to concrete? It cannot be directly applied to an unpainted concrete floor. Although it may stick immediately after installation, it will peel off later and cause lifting. However, if a clear dust-proof coating has been applied to the concrete floor, there is a possibility that it can be applied. (The clear dust-proof coating may appear similar to raw concrete.) In that case, we recommend conducting a test operation with a sample film. ◼︎ What about on colored concrete? Colored concrete is a flooring material that is colored by scattering materials during the concrete pouring process. It is a standard product often seen in factory and warehouse floors. While it does not fade over the years, it can become stained with oil and dirt, making it difficult to clean. The "Kareluya" film can also be used for maintenance and repair on colored concrete. However, some colored concrete may have anti-slip aggregates like sand scattered on it. (It feels rough to the touch.) In that case, the film cannot be applied. *There are separate products available for anti-slip finishes and uneven surfaces.
