We have continued research on a small microwave discharge ion engine in collaboration with JAXA.
Our company offers ion engines that boast fuel efficiency ten times greater than that of conventional propulsion systems. Until now, many small to ultra-small satellites have been without propulsion systems, but with the expansion of business utilization, the incorporation of propulsion systems has become essential. One of the representative satellite constellations is SpaceX's Starlink® program, which ultimately consists of 40,000 satellites. This program also features the new ion engine, making ion engines a highly promising technology. Please feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries.
