This is a sponge rubber made of EPDM with the added feature of high resilience that does not deform easily. When used as airtight seals for equipment handling powders or waterproof seals for liquids, it exhibits extremely low compression deformation even over long periods, preventing the seals from wearing out. For example, it significantly reduces the frequency of seal replacements in areas with poor maintenance accessibility. By incorporating the inherent chemical resistance, cold resistance, ozone resistance, and aging resistance of EPDM, along with the "non-deforming" characteristic of sponge rubber, it eliminates the need for replacements due to wear.
