It provides access to standard modules and parameters defined in the OBD legislation function SAE-J1979/ISO-15031.
OBD II has been legislated and provides access to standard modules and parameters defined by SAE-J1979/ISO-15031. It allows access to the status of various vehicle subsystems, providing real-time data in addition to a standardized set of diagnostic trouble codes. This enables the rapid identification of malfunctions within the vehicle. VISION extended diagnostics offers access to more advanced on-board diagnostic capabilities. By combining VISION CAN with OBD II, it provides support for mandated OBD functions and advanced features available through World-Wide Harmonized On-Board Diagnostics (WWH-OBD).
