The transparency of substances with narrow scattering properties, such as plastic films, may not be measurable with a haze meter or may not correspond to visual perception. The CL-1 model allows for easy comparative measurement of the transparency of these narrow scattering materials due to its unique optical system. Additionally, since the measurement section can be rotated, it is also possible to measure the changes in transparency of anisotropic samples at different angles. ■ It demonstrates its power in measuring the transmittance of highly transparent samples (haze value of 1 or less) where no differences can be detected with a haze meter. ■ By adopting an LED light source, the lifespan of the conventional light source has been extended to 20 times longer (40,000 hours). ■ The design of the housing has been completely renewed, allowing for the measurement of the center of A4 size samples, which was not possible with the old model. ■ By using optional software, data measurements such as maximum transmittance, minimum transmittance, and average transmittance can be performed. * The rotation mechanism cannot be used during liquid measurements.
