(1) Single-pass welding even on thick plates!: One-pass welding is possible for iron up to 6mm and stainless steel up to 8mm. (2) Reduced consumable costs: Consumable costs reduced to about 10% or less compared to plasma welding. (3) Total cost reduction through reduced beveling costs and shorter welding times: Costs reduced to 70% of plasma welding and below 20% of TIG welding. (4) Easier to set conditions than plasma welding.
