Reducing initial costs! A case where we were consulted about whether the generator capacity could be made a little smaller.
Here is an example of calculating generator capacity. In a certain high-rise condominium, it became necessary to calculate the capacity of an emergency generator. When calculated using the conventional star-delta starting method, it turned out to be approximately 450 kVA, which was found to be a significant burden both spatially and economically. We were then consulted by the company to see if the generator capacity could be reduced. We conducted calculations using a special condenser starter called "V-Star" for some of the larger loads. It was determined that we could reduce the capacity to approximately 300 kVA, contributing to a reduction in initial costs. basic information
**Features of V-Star** ■ Small Starting Current - The starting current is kept very low, significantly reducing power capacity. - Effective in addressing issues such as voltage drop and flicker in commercial power supply during startup. ■ Sufficient Starting Torque - The starting torque is about half that of direct connection, providing peace of mind. ■ Smooth Transition - There is no need to disconnect the main circuit during the switch from starting to operation, allowing for a smooth transition. ■ Long Lifespan - Due to the unique magnetic flux elimination method of Denko, it is resistant to frequent use, preventing coil degradation and ensuring a long lifespan. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

We are the only manufacturer in Japan specializing in starters, researching, developing, and producing soft starters, proposing solutions to various troubles that occur when starting stopped motors and machines by reviewing the starting methods. We have prepared models suited to each situation, including measures to prevent voltage effects on the power supply side, downsizing of private power generation equipment, damage prevention measures due to starting stress on the machine side, strategies to avoid starting delays caused by insufficient torque, and energy-saving measures due to frequent repeated starts. Furthermore, even in situations where it is difficult to find a solution with the current product lineup, we aim to resolve issues by developing and designing the most suitable starter for the specific characteristics through engineering work. Please feel free to consult us; we will not only sell starters but also propose the best methods.
