Lactic acid-based natural biomass! Made from renewable resources such as plants, contributing to the realization of a low-carbon society!
Plasticizers are additives that primarily provide flexibility to thermoplastic resins such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), making them easier to mold and process during manufacturing. Our company has developed a lactic acid-based plasticizer. Since the raw material for lactic acid comes from renewable resources, specifically plants, it can also contribute to the realization of a low-carbon society. In preliminary tests, we have confirmed that it has a plasticizing effect on polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Currently, the biomass content is approximately 55-60%, and we will continue to explore ways to further improve the biomass content. 【Specifications】 ■ Viscosity: Approximately 42 cps (25°C) ■ Specific gravity: 1.097 g/cm³ (20°C) ■ Biomass content: 55-60% ■ Heat resistance (volatile loss): 2.0-2.5% (200°C x 2 hours) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

We are a chemical company that researches, develops, manufactures, and sells cutting-edge materials and technologies in the environmental and energy sectors aimed at building a decarbonized society. We are developing various advanced materials and technologies, including natural biomass-based biodegradable plastics (resins), biomass coating materials, biomass inks, next-generation solar cells, next-generation secondary batteries, next-generation fuel cells, quantum dots, metal-organic frameworks, ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents, and cellulose nanofibers. Our original brand, Nano Sakura, under GS Alliance, significantly enhances the functional properties of raw materials by "compositing" cellulose nanofibers, which are the main component of plants, with various existing resin materials, resulting in an environmentally friendly, next-generation high-performance advanced material. We also offer products made from 100% natural materials derived from natural biomass waste resources such as wood, plants, bamboo, paper, recycled paper, seaweed, and starch, aiming for a grade with zero petroleum usage, striving to create materials that are as environmentally friendly as possible. We have been selected as a startup support program company by UNOPS, a United Nations-related organization. UNOPS S3i Innovation Centre Japan
