The PKE electronic motor protection circuit breaker combines high-performance communication capabilities with excellent protection functions, providing flexibility in motor control.
The Eaton Moeller series motor protection circuit breaker PKE, equipped with electronic overload protection, is compact and flexible, allowing for the protection of systems and cables by adding the PKE-XTUCP trip block. It complements the PKZ series and serves as an excellent alternative to MCBs. It is available for use in a current range of up to 65A. Through SmartWire-DT, the PKE motor starting device combination can be easily integrated into any automation environment. SmartWire-DT enhances the efficiency and reliability of drives near motor protection circuit breakers by increasing data transparency. Another PKE communication module, the "PKE-COM," provides a communication interface that can be quickly integrated into any application via the open and standardized Modbus RTU serial field bus. Preventive motor protection is possible through remote monitoring using Modbus RTU. It fully fits into Eaton's product portfolio, allowing for the control and configuration of inverters, PLCs, circuit breakers, motor starters, and more.
