We received the "Technology Excellence Award" at the "Osaka Manufacturing Excellent Company Award 2022" conducted by the Osaka Small and Medium Enterprises Recognition Project Executive Committee.
Our company was founded as a mold manufacturer, starting with the production of molds for glass bottles. Currently, we hold the top domestic market share in the glass bottle mold sector. From there, we have expanded into the production of molds for plastics and machine parts, and we have three group factories in addition to our facility in Osaka. Since we specialize in the manufacturing of casting materials specifically for glass bottle molds, our glass bottle molds maintain stable quality and can flexibly respond to customer requests regarding delivery times and other needs. For plastic molds, we have established a constant temperature room equipped with processing and inspection machines, allowing us to guarantee a pitch of 100mm down to 3 microns. In recent years, we have also responded to customer demands by providing maintenance for molds. We are working on high-efficiency production lines that combine robots and multi-functional machines capable of 24-hour unmanned operation, as well as improving efficiency and reducing labor through the introduction of NC machining lines. Our high market share, based on our technical expertise in glass bottle molds, along with our strong curiosity to expand our technical capabilities beyond just glass bottle molds to include plastic molds, and our efforts to improve and introduce new equipment for long-term stable supply, have led to a significant increase in productivity and have been highly recognized, resulting in awards.

What is the Osaka Manufacturing Excellence Award? In Osaka, there are many companies with unique technologies, companies that have overcome numerous economic fluctuations and intense price competition through continuous efforts to enhance skilled techniques and technologies, and companies that continue to grow with new technologies and products in fields such as environment, energy, and life sciences. The "Osaka Manufacturing Excellence Award" publicly invites applications from such outstanding small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in Osaka. A selection committee composed of experts evaluates and selects candidates based on four perspectives: technology, QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery), finance, and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Award-winning companies are featured in the manufacturing introduction booklet "Osaka's Energetic! Manufacturing Companies" and engage in promotional activities at large-scale exhibition and business meetings, being widely introduced as "Osaka's flagship manufacturing companies" through government initiatives. Additionally, award-winning companies are allowed to use the Takumi logo mark for PR as "energetic small and medium-sized enterprises in Osaka." Over the 15 years from fiscal year 2008 to fiscal year 2022, a total of 900 companies have been selected, and after receiving the award, some have been chosen for the national "Monozukuri Nippon Grand Award," making it a "gateway" for manufacturing companies.
