The "VC-1S" is a sulfonium salt type photoinitiator with high sensitivity to i-line. It suppresses the absorption of visible light (g-line, h-line) and has significant absorption only at i-line, making it suitable for transparent applications. Due to the use of a special anion, it has an acid strength equivalent to that of HSbF6 anion products, despite being non-Sb based, and demonstrates high cationic polymerization capability.
