The "RAD-Moon3" is a new Ethernet media converter for in-vehicle Ethernet applications. It converts the physical layer of Ethernet from MultiG BASE-T1 at 2.5/5/10 Gbit to the same MultiG BASE-T. This is necessary for directly connecting a PC equipped with standard 8-wire Ethernet to in-vehicle ECUs and switches that use the vehicle-specific 2-wire Ethernet.
