The Acro 500 is a filter capsule equipped with a Supor EKV membrane and a polycarbonate housing, featuring an effective filtration area of 500 cm², allowing for the filtration and sterilization of large volumes of solutions. This capsule incorporates a dual-layer membrane made of polyethersulfone (PES), enabling high-flow filtration. This membrane has low binding characteristics for proteins and preservatives, allowing for maximum permeability of the target components. Additionally, it is compatible with a wide range of solvents, making it suitable for filtration in various applications such as buffers and culture media. The polycarbonate outer housing has improved optical clarity, facilitating easy venting of the capsule during use and maximizing membrane area and flow rate.
