Products containing 1 wt% or more of Type 1 designated chemical substances, or 0.1 wt% or more of specific Type 1 designated chemical substances, are subject to this regulation!
A partial amendment to the Enforcement Order of the Act on the Promotion of Understanding and Improvement of Management of Emissions of Specific Chemical Substances into the Environment was promulgated on October 20, 2021, and the PRTR system and SDS system will be implemented starting April 1, 2023. Businesses with 21 or more employees that handle 1 ton or more of Type 1 designated chemical substances or 0.5 tons or more of specific Type 1 designated chemical substances are subject to this regulation.
