Sanyo Industrial Co., Ltd. updated its weather resistance testing equipment in August 2020, replacing the existing carbon arc type weather resistance testing device with the xenon lamp type "i Super Xenon Tester XER-W83." Until now, the mainstream weather resistance testing equipment in Taiwan has been the carbon arc type, but there is a growing trend in the Taiwanese market to transition to the xenon lamp type in line with the times. This weather resistance testing machine, which can conduct tests under conditions similar to the spectral distribution of sunlight, is utilized as a highly correlated ultra-accelerated weather resistance testing machine, allowing for experiments on materials for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles exposed to sunlight outdoors.
