The customer had set a goal of achieving 80% renewable energy in their purchased electricity by 2030, but they felt they lacked the necessary materials to determine what measures were possible in Japan, their effectiveness, the costs and feasibility of each measure, and trends among other companies. They found it difficult to organize and analyze the overwhelming amount of information with their own resources to make decisions on measures. Therefore, we proposed providing a research report containing the information needed to make decisions on measures. With this report, they were able to quantitatively confirm the facts and use it to prioritize on a global scale. They decided to start with locations like China and South Korea, where the systems are relatively easy to understand and cost-effective.
