We would like to introduce a case study of a customer in the metal processing industry who implemented a "slide fork-equipped AGV (automated guided vehicle)." The customer's challenge before implementation was to maximize the effective area of the manufacturing line in narrow paths where forklifts could not be used. To address this, a lift-and-slide device was mounted on the AGV.
