[Construction Example 4] Detached House Roof Snow Melting (Electric Heater Type, Exposed Method)
Measures limited to the north side of the large roof! Installing a heater net afterwards to effectively prevent the formation of snow eaves.
We would like to introduce a case study of roof snow melting (electric heater type, exposed method) in a detached house. After more than 25 years since construction, and with a house built next door, we received a consultation about wanting to take measures to prevent snow eaves from falling. Since the request was to limit the measures to the north side of the large roof, we installed a lightweight heater net afterward, successfully preventing the occurrence of snow eaves. With a capacity of about 300W/m2, we combined it with a type of controller that allows easy adjustment of the "remaining snow processing operation time" in case of any leftover melting snow, which has been very useful.
