A laser light source with a pulse width of 50 ps has been integrated into a super compact substrate along with an internal oscillator. Using a USB interface, the control software can be freely customized. It is equipped with a high-speed LD driver circuit, allowing for repetition rates of up to approximately 500 MHz (an external oscillator is required for rates above 250 MHz). Additionally, the pulse width can be varied within the range of 50 ps to 9 ns.
