Case study of introducing digital signage for employee cafeterias that allows easy menu registration and leftover display!
We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of digital signage for the employee cafeteria at Komatsu Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Koyama Plant. The company newly constructed the first welfare building within the factory in November 2021, completely renewing the cafeteria corner. Digital signage displays the ever-changing menu at the building entrance and the cafeteria entrance. Images taken with a tablet can be directly registered as the menu, making it easy to create screens for signage. Additionally, by simply pressing an IoT button, the leftover food status for each menu item can be displayed in real-time.
