We need 'net zero' where the emissions of greenhouse gases are offset by reductions to achieve zero!

The report adopted at the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) plenary session held from October 1 to 6, 2018, warns that global temperatures could rise by 1.5°C compared to pre-industrial levels by 2030. At the same time, it emphasized the need to reduce global carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by "45% compared to 2010 levels by 2030" and achieve "net zero" by around 2050 in order to keep the temperature rise around 1.5°C.
