The ActiveStor Ultra Edge 100 (ASU-100E) is the latest and smallest addition to the Panasas ActiveStor product family. The ASU-100E is designed for compact primary data centers, remote data centers, and hub-and-spoke edge deployments, providing parallel file system performance where needed with a small footprint and low-cost entry point. The ASU-100E features Panasas' parallel file system, PanFS, and is based on the ActiveStor architecture, orchestrating multiple computers into a single entity to deliver data for today's modern HPC AI/ML and HPC applications. This is executed without human intervention, continuously balancing the load across the system, scrubbing stored data for the highest level of data protection, and encrypting stored data to protect it from unnecessary exposure.

Each enclosure houses four server nodes, and by combining these, a flexible and scalable ASU-100E storage solution is provided.
