Analysis of PFAS using combustion ion chromatography system [Technical Document]
Analysis of AOF and PFAS
Analysis of perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) using combustion ion chromatography system.
Adsorptive Organic Fluorine (AOF) is the sum value that covers a wide spectrum of organic fluorine. AOF analysis is an appropriate screening analytical method for PFAS in water. DIN 38409-59 conducts AOF analysis using combustion ion chromatography (CIC), which combines a pyrolysis device and an ion chromatograph – AOF analysis can be performed using Metrohm's combustion ion chromatography system.
