Foaming agent masterbatch | LUVOBATCH is a chemical foaming agent developed and manufactured by the German LEHVOSS Group.
LUVOBATCH is a chemical foaming agent masterbatch developed and manufactured by the German LEHVOSS Group. The LEHVOSS Group is a global supplier of high-performance resin raw materials, additives, and compounds. This foaming agent masterbatch allows for the foaming of plastic parts simply by adding it during the molding process. A significant advantage is that it does not require the introduction of new dedicated equipment or maintenance, as it can be foamed directly with existing molding equipment. Chemical foaming agents are generally classified into endothermic and exothermic systems, each following different foaming reactions and exhibiting different properties. Endothermic systems use organic materials such as carbonates, mixed carbonates, and citrates, which are characterized by easy control of the foaming process, high safety, and the ability to achieve fine foaming. On the other hand, exothermic systems use inorganic materials such as ADCA (azodicarbonamide), OBSH (oxybisbenzenesulfonylhydrazide), and TSH (toluene sulfonyl hydrazide), which are characterized by a high foaming ratio. At LUVOBATCH, we propose the appropriate type of foaming agent according to the specific project requirements.

basic information
By using a foaming agent to foam plastic, it is possible to achieve lightweight plastic parts, improved thermal insulation, enhanced soundproofing, and added shock absorption. Furthermore, there are also benefits in molding, such as reduced shrinkage, dimensional stabilization, and shortened cycle times due to reduced melt viscosity. □ Features of LUVOBATCH - Lightweight - Improved thermal insulation - Enhanced soundproofing - Added shock absorption - Prevention of shrinkage during molding - Shortened cycle times due to reduced melt viscosity □ Target Resins for LUVOBATCH PE, PP, EVA, PVC, PS, PET, PBT, PA, etc. □ Forms of LUVOBATCH 1) Powder In powder form. Effective with a small amount of addition since there is no carrier resin (however, safety measures regarding dust generation are necessary). 2) Masterbatch Pellet form containing a carrier resin. No dust generation, making it easy to achieve a uniform and stable formulation of active ingredients. In foaming molding, it is necessary to select an appropriate foaming agent based on the purpose of foaming, compatibility with the target resin, molding temperature range, gas generation amount, molding method, and various regulatory requirements. We offer a range of grades that accommodate various molding methods and resins, and we provide solutions tailored to specific projects based on our extensive examples and experience.
