"Uniservo" is the first robot actuator that incorporates the functions of a torque servo. It allows for arbitrary increase or decrease of the torque on the output shaft, as well as detection of the torque applied to the output shaft, enabling specification of the motor-side torque increase or decrease and rotation angle. Additionally, it can generate the specified torque and also create friction and inertia, making it applicable to various loads, testing devices, and simulators that mimic human behavior. The rated capacities include five models: 15W, 40W, 80W, 200W, and 750W. ■ Features ○ Equipped with a high-resolution, high-speed response rotary torque meter on the output shaft for simple, fast, and high-precision torque control based on measured torque. ○ Compact design with a reduction gear for high torque output. ○ A dynamic range of 10,000 times enables fine torque control even at high torque capacities. ■Operating Principle ○ The torque of the output shaft is measured using a strain gauge. ○ The torque is amplified and digitized by a rotating circuit board fixed to the output shaft. ○ The digitized torque signal is transmitted optically to the housing-side circuit via an LED. ○ The housing-side circuit board multiplexes the digitized torque signal and encoder signal for transmission to the controller. ■Macro Function ○ It is possible to create macros by recording communication command strings. ○ Up to 15 macros can be created. ○ A maximum of 1MB of content can be stored in flash ROM. ○ The temporary storage RAM for writing macros is 32kB. ○ When creating long macros, save to flash ROM each time using the macro addition command "WPB." ○ Macros can also be structured hierarchically. ○ It is possible to reference additional two-layer macros within a macro. ■Connection/Communication ○ Standard: Compliant with USB Ver2.0 (Full Speed) ○ Class: Communication Class ○ Compatible Models: AT-compatible machines with USB ports ○ Supported OS: Windows Vista, Windows 7 ○ Connector: Mini-B type ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
