Reinforced cardboard "Naviace" opens a new factory in North Kanto! Production capacity doubled!

In August of this year, Naviece Kanto Co., Ltd., which relocated its factory from Soka City, Saitama Prefecture to Itakura Town, Ora District, Gunma Prefecture, and expanded its production scale, has purchased new trucks (5 units of 4-ton trucks and 1 unit of 10-ton truck, totaling 6 vehicles) for its transportation subsidiary, Naviece Kanto Logistics Co., Ltd. ◆ Increased demand due to the expansion of production facilities ◆ Our customers' efforts towards carbon neutrality are accelerating *The reinforced cardboard and cardboard pallets handled by Naviece are often used for environmental improvement purposes. In 1952, Naviece Co., Ltd. was founded in the Chubu region with the aim of "transforming wooden boxes into cardboard." As of September 1, 2023, the group company "Fukuno Cardboard Industry" has been renamed "Naviece Kanto." As mentioned earlier, the company is committed to "transforming other materials into cardboard" with the motto of: - Achieving a low-carbon society - Creating a work environment that is easier for people working in logistics The company specializes in using its unique products: - Reinforced cardboard "Naviece" - Cardboard pallets "Navipallet" to transport goods over long distances, such as for exports, and excels in custom packaging design for heavy and complex products like engines and large motors. In recent years, due to the expansion of demand in the Kanto region: In 2018, production began in the Kanto area through the acquisition of Fukuno Cardboard Industry (located in Soka, Saitama Prefecture). In 2023, due to the aging of the Fukuno Cardboard Industry factory and the growing demand for heavy packaging, the factory was relocated to Itakura Town, Ora District, Gunma Prefecture (10 minutes from the Tatebayashi Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway). Additionally, equipment updates and expansions are being carried out. As mentioned earlier, the company name was also changed to "Naviece Kanto" as of September 1, 2023, to better respond to the growing demand in the Kanto region.

The long-established cardboard manufacturer "Fukuno Cardboard Industry Co., Ltd.", which started operations in 1940 (Showa 15) before the Pacific War, will change its company name to "Navis Kanto Co., Ltd." as of September 1, 2023. In 2018, we began a partnership with our current parent company, Navis (formerly Nakatsugawa Packaging Industry). We started the production of the reinforced cardboard "Navis" and the cardboard pallet "Navipallet," which are patented by Navis. Along with this, we have been promoting the proposal activities for converting wooden boxes, wooden pallets, and plastic pallets for export in the Kanto region into cardboard (which is environmentally friendly). In August 2023, we relocated our factory from Soka City, Saitama Prefecture, to Itakura Town, Ora District, Gunma Prefecture. The site area has doubled. We made capital investments to accommodate the increased demand for heavy-duty packaging using the reinforced cardboard "Navis." Then, on September 1, 2023, we will change our company name to "Navis Kanto Co., Ltd." and shift our focus to becoming a company specialized in heavy-duty packaging. In long-established companies, there are still many outdated packaging forms that are perceived as inconvenient but are still in use. We hope that our efforts can contribute to improvement activities.
