Surface treatment examples: Precision and release surface treatment applicable to polyester mesh.
We will introduce examples of release surface treatments that can be processed using fixtures made of polyester mesh.
We received an inquiry from a customer whose business is designing automatic machines regarding measures to prevent adhesive from sticking out from laminated films. ■Inquiry Details In a lamination device for films used in automotive parts, the adhesive that protrudes was sticking to the positioning jig, hindering automation. ■Background for Selection To prevent adhesive from sticking, surface treatment of the jig was considered, but due to the use of polyester mesh for the jig, "low-temperature processability" and "precision" became necessary. ■Coating Adopted 'Nano Process TLS-200' ■Adoption Background and Effects We proposed a nano process that combines precision of about 1μm, low-temperature processability below 100°C, and excellent adhesion prevention. The adhesion of the adhesive material was eliminated, allowing products that pass the user's quality inspection to be produced by the automatic machine. *For more details, please refer to the materials or contact us directly.
