Two zirconia-type λ sensors are used to calculate the EGR rate. They are lightweight and compact, making them ideal for in-vehicle measurements.
[EGR Rate Measurement Device] Measuring the EGR rate is a very important parameter for NOx suppression. Traditionally, measuring the EGR rate has been complex and difficult. The EGR5230 uses two λ sensors and a pressure sensor to measure and output the EGR rate. By installing a λ sensor and a pressure sensor on both the intake manifold side and the exhaust manifold side, the EGR rate is measured. The system configuration is simple, and the response time is less than 1 second. In addition to the EGR rate, other parameters that can be measured by the λ sensors and pressure sensors can also be directly output to the CAN bus, and can be output as an analog signal (0-5V).
