From October 7 (Tuesday) for four days, Oji Fitec Co., Ltd. will exhibit at "JAPAN PACK 2025" held at Tokyo Big Sight. This exhibition is a comprehensive showcase where the latest technologies and products related to packaging machinery, packaging materials, packaging material processing machinery, food processing machinery, pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturing equipment, and logistics equipment come together. This year's JAPAN PACK has the theme "BEYOND | Creating the Future with Packaging," featuring innovative products and solutions that address various challenges. From October 1st for three days, Oji Futech will be exhibiting at "Agriculture WEEK (commonly known as J-AGRI Tokyo Exhibition)" held at Makuhari Messe. Agriculture WEEK is an exhibition where agricultural materials, smart agriculture products, livestock materials, and more are showcased, facilitating active business discussions between exhibiting companies and visitors. At Oji Futech's booth within the Agricultural Materials EXPO, we will introduce our paper-based agricultural mulching sheet, "OJI Sustainable Mulch." Oji Futech's "OJI Sustainable Mulch" is a mulching sheet made primarily from cellulose. After use, it decomposes in the soil, which not only reduces waste disposal costs but also helps suppress soil temperature rise, leading to increased yields for summer and autumn crops. We will also be showcasing our freshness-preserving and antibacterial OPP film, "Calfresh," at the same booth. We look forward to your visit!

Hattori Co., Ltd. declares its motto as "Creating products that are kind to people and the Earth" and aims to contribute to initiatives that enhance the attractiveness of local living through the achievement of the SDGs and pass it on to the next generation. One of the environmentally friendly products they handle is our Calfresh, which has been adopted for use as an antibacterial sheet for bento boxes. It has been recognized for utilizing scallop shells that would otherwise be treated as waste, suppressing bacterial growth, and contributing to the reduction of food loss, aligning with their SDGs initiatives. It is also used by bento chain stores and is available for sale online. Calfresh is an OPP film blended with fine powder from scallop shells. The film surface becomes alkaline due to moisture from food, which suppresses bacterial growth. This is the first time this product has been adopted for use as an antibacterial sheet.
