Hibis Mixes® Type 2P-1
A compact tabletop planetary mixer suitable for prescription research and development.
HibisMix® consists of a two-axis planetary mixing, dispersing, and kneading machine with two stirring blades that rotate and revolve. The two stirring blades can uniformly mix the contents of the container by rotating while revolving. As a result, there is minimal dead space, allowing for uniform mixing even with very high-viscosity materials. It is suitable for mixing and dispersing from paste to clay-like consistency and is primarily used in kneading operations that require uniform mixing and dispersion of large amounts of powder with small amounts of liquid. It can handle kneading of high viscosity up to about 1,000 Pa·s (1,000,000 cP).
