ABB's Shield-Kon is a patented, simple, quick, and safe solution for noise interference.
Shield-Kon is an ABB solution that uses cold crimping technology (without heat input) for the grounding of large quantities of shielded cables. Due to the reliability of the process and results, ABB Shield-Kon is widely used in automotive, railway, aerospace, industrial, and military applications. Two types of connectors are available to accommodate cable sizes: one-piece connectors and two-piece connectors.

basic information
Shield-Kon One-Piece Connector It can be applied to all parts of the cable, allowing for the creation of insulated cable assemblies with low electrical resistance and high mechanical strength. Shield-Kon Two-Piece Connector Cold compression is performed on two cylindrical ferrules. The use of hand tools to generate hexagonal or circular shapes for crimp connectors is included, and it can be used for shielded cables and coaxial cables with diameters of 1.17 to 9.52 mm (hexagonal type) and 10.92 to 36.2 mm (circular type).
