We will focus on test automation and introduce our achievements.
The products around us undergo various tests to ensure safety and quality before they hit the market. Therefore, testing machines that evaluate data and values are necessary, and since many tests are conducted continuously, automation is required. Our company has been involved in the design and manufacturing of testing machines in collaboration with measurement and instrumentation manufacturers. Here, we will focus on the automation of testing and introduce our achievements.

basic information
What are the effects of test automation? When conducting tests continuously, automating the tests is effective. The following effects can be expected: - Ensuring reproducibility Human-operated tasks can lead to mistakes and variations due to fatigue and decreased concentration. Automation allows for consistent test results. - Improving test efficiency Human-operated tasks require a certain amount of time for preparation, setup, and operation. Factors that contribute to decreased efficiency can include the tendency of operators to be overly cautious with each step. By automating the entire process, the time required for testing can be reduced. The background for the spread of automation can be attributed to the ability to standardize tasks, which ultimately leads to an expected improvement in quality.

Applications/Examples of results
- Impact Resistance Testing Machine for Glass Glass used in automobiles and building materials requires safety assurance. To check if it maintains the necessary adhesion and strength, there is a device that tests by dropping a steel ball from a specified height. In this case, we updated the control-related aspects of the existing testing machine to achieve more efficient testing. - Testing Machine for Special Steel There are several methods to evaluate whether special steel used in transformers and motors complies with standards. Installing the testing machine requires adapting to the user's surrounding environment. In this case, we designed and manufactured a positioning system for the transport mechanism to ensure that the measuring device can measure correctly during automatic loading. A proposal to enhance efficiency using a handling robot was adopted. - Chain Wear Testing Machine Roller chains used in drive components and transport systems across various industries require guarantees of strength and wear resistance. Wear is evaluated using a device that tests the amount of wear. In this case, we designed and manufactured the system to allow monitoring and data recording during continuous operation, taking safety and operability into consideration due to its large size. Additionally, we achieved space-saving through clever configuration.
