We would like to introduce a case where a blow disk was installed as a countermeasure for discharge issues occurring in a metal powder hopper. Users utilizing the hopper experienced problems where, over time, the weight of the material would cause it to compact, leading to the formation of rat holes even when discharge was possible. To resolve this issue, we installed three blow disk minis just above the discharge section and three blow disks at the upper and lower center of the hopper cone. By activating the air using a controller equipped with four solenoid valves, we have successfully addressed the problem. 【Case Overview】 ■ Conditions - Hopper Diameter: Φ1500 - Discharge Diameter: Φ100 - Material: Metal Powder 【Key Points of Our Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign material contamination.
