The AP series with a double column design has a maximum workpiece diameter of 14m. It features a rigid machine structure with the columns positioned on the table base that houses the spindle and gearbox. The horizontal slide guide on the front of the cross rail supports the vertical ram saddle through its horizontal movement (utilizing static pressure pockets).
