The surface shows some peeling of the protective sheet at the initial penetration points, but the backside can be cut without almost any peeling. This is aluminum thick plate water jet cutting. Although it is thin, aluminum tends to easily form a natural oxide film when exposed to air, so after a certain amount of prolonged processing, it becomes waterlogged. Therefore, we want to protect as much as possible, except for the cut surface where the base material is exposed. Of course, with dynamic water jet cutting, the cutting head is automatically tilted to eliminate taper, reducing water flow delay and taper, allowing for high-precision cutting.
