As a pioneer in the baseball world, this is a prestigious site with a 100-year tradition, located in one of the largest historical outdoor baseball stadiums in the country. It is the actual plate that was used on the mound, a battleground that high school baseball players from across the nation aspire to reach. A request was made to process it by cutting it in half for display purposes. The size is a custom piece measuring 160mm x 160mm x 610mm, and the material is likely Dunky rubber (elastic rubber). Typically, at other stadiums, the thickness is about 80mm, which is half of this. The surface shows signs of wear from intense spike marks and is still covered with dirt that tells the story of its history. 【Finish】 Despite being a solid block of special Dunky rubber with an overwhelming thickness of 160mm, we were able to achieve an extremely sharp and beautiful cut surface without any melting due to friction heat or distortion at the cut edges. By cleanly dividing it while preserving the historical value of the spike marks and dirt (from ○○○), we can achieve high quality for creating display samples for museums and memorial halls.

In order to run safely and comfortably in harsh environments such as unpaved roads and mountain paths, we have implemented cutting processes aimed at verifying the internal structure of high-performance trail running shoes, which are constructed with a special structure different from that of road shoes to "protect," "grasp," and "stabilize," and are equipped with high durability, high breathability, high cushioning, and high stability. Our solution involves the internal verification of high-performance shoes that are composed of a variety of fibers, resins, and rubber materials with differing hardness levels in a three-dimensional composite. Mechanical cutting tools or heat cutting methods can cause material peeling or deformation. Additionally, due to the large hollow sections, we have achieved an optimal cutting environment by highly integrating advanced settings and optimal cutting speed settings with water jet cutting. For the setting and cutting speed settings, we construct optimal settings to prevent breakage or delamination for structures that are complexly layered with materials of significantly different hardness, ranging from flexible mesh materials to high-hardness soles. We received a request from a product manufacturer after they viewed and referenced various processing examples. To accommodate high voltage, we conducted internal verification cutting on industrial igniters filled with potting material to check for any filling leaks or voids near the high-pressure coil. In the internal inspection of products that complexly combine a variety of materials and parts with differing hardness, such as cases, potting materials, circuit boards, high-pressure transformers (ferrite cores), aluminum heat sinks, and electrical components, it is difficult to use mechanical blades or thermal cutting methods. Using general cutters can cause blade chipping or melting of the filler due to friction heat. Therefore, we have highly integrated advanced settings and optimal cutting speed settings to achieve the best cutting environment. For complex laminated and filled structures with multiple materials of varying hardness (such as resin, metal, and ceramics), we establish optimal settings to prevent delamination and breakage, and by setting the optimal cutting speed according to the material properties, we accurately expose the internal structure and bonding conditions while minimizing cross-sectional disturbance.

We conducted precision cutting to verify the internal structure of containers and structures that protect silicon chips (IC chips) with finely etched circuits and connect them electrically to external substrates. Processing Know-How (Setting): By deeply understanding the characteristics of the delicate multilayer structure's stacking pitch and materials, we established optimal settings to minimize tiny vibrations and delamination during cutting. This allows for accurate exposure of the internal bonding conditions as they are. We have implemented high-precision rectangular (rectangular) uneven cutting processing on both end faces and specified areas of the resin timing belt with metal wire (existing molded product). Even for composite materials that combine the different textures of resin and metal, we achieve excellent cutting quality by utilizing the characteristics of water jet technology. In cutting composite materials that integrate resin and high-strength metal wire, we combine precise path control through software with water jet cutting (hardware) technology. As part of our processing know-how (software), we consider the unique pitch, laminated structure, and height differences of the belt to construct an optimal tool path that minimizes small distortions during cutting. We perform settings to eliminate winding tendencies as much as possible, enabling cutting of complex rectangular (rectangular) uneven shapes with dimensional accuracy as designed. As for high-pressure water jet (hardware), we achieve non-thermal cutting that prevents melting of the resin and the generation of burrs or peeling of the metal wire. We also demonstrate excellent penetration and cutting capabilities for thick plate belts, resulting in a clean finish on the cross-section. A workpiece with a cross-section formed by integrally combining resin with high strength, heat resistance, sliding properties, low wear, lightweight, and chemical resistance, and stainless steel with excellent properties such as heat resistance, processability, and strength, was cut for cross-sectional inspection. The cutting was done using a water jet, which does not apply continuous stresses such as heat or vibration to the material. However, after starting the half-split cutting in a state where the product specifications were completely fine, when approaching the center, some areas were damaged due to the release of stress caused by the differences in expansion and contraction of the materials. To confirm the wear and damage of the rotating axis of the home appliance, it was cut into two parts. Considering the friction resistance, many of the rotating components are in a floating state, so there is a high possibility that small parts may be lost during a complete two-part cut. Therefore, I proposed a 90-degree opening cut. However, prioritizing the confirmation of the axis center, we accepted the risk of damage or loss of other parts and took measures to maintain stability in areas that could become unstable during cutting, and proceeded with the two-part cut.
