【Processing Points】 In order to ensure water and dust resistance (waterproof specifications) and prevent disconnection (strain relief) under harsh environmental conditions, we adopted a molded structure for an inline (relay type) sensor protection and waterproof case (a molded integrated acceleration sensor unit that also serves as an amplifier/relay unit). We conducted cutting processing aimed at verifying the internal structure. 【Our Solution】 In the internal verification of a composite structure made of various materials with completely different hardness and texture, such as resin, rubber, copper wire, and metal, mechanical cutting tools or thermal cutting methods can cause material peeling, deformation, delamination, and bursting. We have achieved an optimal cutting environment by highly integrating advanced settings and optimal cutting speed settings with water jet cutting. Processing Know-How (Settings and Cutting Speed Settings): For a complex composite structure of dissimilar materials with significant hardness differences, ranging from soft rubber and resin to hard metal and copper wire, we establish optimal settings to prevent peeling and breaking, and by setting the optimal cutting speed according to the material properties, we accurately expose the internal layer structure and wiring state without disruption.
