Water jet cutting processing of resin concrete manhole covers.
Water jet cutting processing
With our extensive experience and proven track record in water jet cutting, we accept requests for prototype and verification cutting of difficult-to-process materials such as metals, resins, and composites.
Using no cement or water, we created a concrete that firmly binds crushed stone, sand, and calcium carbonate with thermosetting resin as the binder. This concrete is resistant to chemicals, wear, and has high strength, making it difficult to visually inspect the cross-section with standard cutting machines, which is why we received your request. The resin concrete lid was processed using water jet cutting. Although it appears flat, it has a drop lid shape, so the surface features a gentle curve and taper, and there is a recess for the handle on the underside, requiring some ingenuity in the setup.
