Designing illuminance without mercury lamps! A case of increasing the number of lighting fixtures by making them brighter products.
We would like to introduce a case study of converting mercury lamps to LED that our company has conducted. Due to the inability to move manufacturing equipment, a high-altitude work vehicle could not be brought in, making it impossible to replace the mercury lamps. As a result of including only fluorescent lights for handwork in the simulation to check illuminance, the design was completed without using mercury lamps. After the installation, it was reported that there were no shadows of people in the passageway and no unevenness, making mechanical work easier. 【Case Overview】 ■ Issues - Unable to bring in a high-altitude work vehicle, making it impossible to replace mercury lamps - High costs for scaffolding, with no budget available ■ Benefits of Implementation - No shadows of people in the passageway and no unevenness - By not replacing the mercury lamps, we were able to reduce construction costs and electricity bills *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
