Proposal for the strengthened cardboard pallet "Navi Pallet" in response to EU export pallet regulations!
More and more of our customers are considering switching from plastic pallets to reinforced cardboard pallets.
The European Union (EU) has a strong global environmental awareness and is actively implementing measures in response to the SDGs. In 2021, it announced a policy to tax non-recyclable plastics, and Spain began its implementation in January 2023. Other EU member states that have not yet adopted this policy are expected to follow Spain's lead. The reinforced cardboard Navi pallet is made from recyclable cardboard material. It is a pallet specifically designed for environmental considerations. There are numerous instances of its adoption as an alternative to plastic pallets. By switching from plastic pallets, it is possible to reduce CO2 emissions during transportation. Additionally, it can be designed with strength suitable for handling overseas shipments, making it widely used for transporting products intended for international markets. Its lightweight nature, which reduces the burden on workers, is also one of its appealing features. ◎ Load capacity of 1 ton, replaceable with other materials ◎ Recyclable ◎ Lower CO2 emissions compared to plastic ◎ Many successful applications for overseas use ◎ Lightweight and easy for workers to handle The new factory that started operations in September 2023 in Itakura Town, Gunma Prefecture, is equipped with production facilities equivalent to those at the headquarters. We aim to double our production capacity and strive to improve the packaging logistics for many customers.
