If you create a jig to hold the test specimen in advance, you can first adjust it with a reference item, and then you can inspect the Newton rings simply by swapping out the test specimens. The reference lenses come in a rich lineup of eight types, covering a wide measurement range. There are two types of spherical stands available: a standard type (120mm) and a long-axis type (360mm), allowing measurements based on the required stroke for the test specimen. By attaching a reference plate for flat measurements, flat measurements also become possible.
